Candice Senior Portraits 11/1/09

Candace is a senior at Liberty High School and Captain of the cheerleader squad.

We took her to the Diablo Shores water ski lake for photos.

Candace was a natural in front of the camera and didn't hesitate to try imaginative poses.

She's also very athletic and enthusiastically showed off her jumping and cheer abilities. Her family loved her photos so much her older sister has asked to do a photo shoot as well!

Gabriella & Rick Wedding 10-24-09

Gabriella & Rick were married at the beautiful Church of Epipany in San Francisco with their reception at the Embassy Suites.

It was a grand affair with traditional Italian family flair.

Kelly photographed the bride and her maids while Stacey kept up with the guys at the church.



We had perfect light for the couple's creative portraits. They were great sports! Thank you and congratulations Gabriella & Rick!

Vicky & Jeff Wedding 10-11-09

Vicky & Jeff's wedding was held at Highland Park in Ben Lomond near Santa Cruz. It was a Sunday wedding so it started at 1pm.

The day started out a little foggy, but not bad for photos. Later the sun came out which gave us an opportunity for some more colorful shots.

Vicky and Jeff were a pure pleasure to work with and their family and friends were great!

We tried something different this time with the slideshow. We miked the officiant and recorded the ceremony. Then we edited the best parts of the ceremony and added the audio to the music in the montage. It made for a very moving video. Check it out!

Afdahl Family Photo Shoot 10-4-2009

We met Tom, Tami, Tyler, & Toby at the Diablo Shores Waterski Lake. We love this place for photos. It has white sandy beaches, big shady trees, green grass, and blue water.

We timed the shoot to take advantage of a beautiful sunset.

The family was a blast to work with and the kids were great.

Baby Gaby 10-2-09

We met 6 month old baby Gaby and her mom at the Discovery Bay Country Club for their photo shoot.

Gaby was a treat to work with, no crying! Although she didn't smile much. Models know that too much smiling can cause wrinkles ;-)

Gaby was a "super" model for us! The photos and video montage really came together well with mom's song suggestion.

Karis & Roland Wedding @ Swendenborgian Church San Francisco

Kari & Roland were married at the historic Swendenborgian Church in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. Built in 1895, the heavy timbered roof is supported by trees cut from the Santa Cruz mountains.
Ceremonies inside this quaint church are challenging to photograph as there are only a few windows on one side and the rest is lit by candlelight. Flash wasn't allowed during the ceremony, but that's where our special low light lenses come in handy! The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was intimate. The bride and her dress were stunning, and the groom handsome. Family and friends were loving and fun.
We were honored to be trusted with the task of capturing such a special day with special people at a special place. We wish Kari & Roland many years of happiness.

Teresa & Mario Wedding @ Nines Brentwood 8-29-2009

Teresa & Mario's wedding was a fantastic and beautiful event that everyone enjoyed. The couple had been together for ten years before getting married, but you could see their love for each other was still fresh.
We had shot their engagement photos at a beach in Half Moon Bay a few weeks prior. We showed their engagement slideshow at the reception.
We also tried something new for Teresa & Mario. We recorded a short message from each before the ceremony which we incorporated into their wedding slideshow montage. We're excited how it turned out. It adds a nice personal touch.
Our new partner, Janell, joined us to help shoot the wedding. This gave us THREE perspectives! Some of the shots Janell got were very interesting angles. She's a talented photographer and we're excited to have her helping us more in the near future.
