May & Andy Engagement Photo Shoot in SF

We met May & Andy under the Bay Bridge to start our morning of engagement photos. It was a foggy morning but we still got some bridge and skyline photos before going to Golden Gate Park.

At the Conservatory of Flowers we found beautiful areas for backdrops. There was also a small band playing under a bridge which May & Andy danced to!

We had a great time and shared many laughs during our shoot. After working up an appetite we lunched with the couple in the city. May & Andy aren't just clients, we consider them new friends too. We look forward to their August wedding in Sacramento at the beautiful Vizcaya Pavilion & Mansion.

Wedding at the Nines Brentwood Golf Course

Samantha and Anthony were married May 16th on a warm sunny day at the Nines in Brentwood.
This is a gorgeous location with a caring and experienced staff. The wedding coordinator, Lisa Quinn, did an amazing job!

The reception was fantastic. Pete Fonseca did a great job as DJ. He was helpful, attentive, and imaginative with his music selection.

As you can see from the photographs the grounds at the Nines provide romantic and beautiful backdrops. It has everything for a perfect wedding - gorgeous area for the ceremony, tree shaded area for formals, reflection ponds and waterfalls, reception area with nice lighting, and friendly staff.

Anthony & Samantha we're up for pushing the limits on capturing beautiful images so we tried something new. It's not new to shoot waterfalls with long exposures to achieve that silky look, but to do it with pepole in the shot is. As Kelly set up the couple in the shot I set up the camera for just the right exposure. They remained still just long enough to get the effect we were looking for with stunning results. Thank you Anthony & Samantha for being great sports!

Kelly and I wish Samantha & Anthony a wonderful marriage. We enjoyed meeting the families and look forward to more beautiful weddings at the Nines.

Richie Portraits at Diablo Shores 5-8-2009

Kelly & I went to the house of Rich & Lucia's to photograph their good looking boy named Richie.
They wanted to get pictures done before he lost his first tooth. Once dressed up he was ready to shoot. Richie used to do a little modeling a couple of years ago, and looks like he's ready for more!
He was patient with us as we set up each shot. We were also able to get a number of candid shots, even with his parents.

Vicky & Jeff Engagement Photos 4-26-2009

We met Vicky & Jeff at the Sunol Valley Golf Course to discuss their October wedding. They are a good looking, polite and smart couple - both engineers at Lockheed!

After going through the paperwork for their wedding we spent about an hour getting some beautiful shots around the golf course.

They warmed up fast to the camera and commented how they felt like celebrities! They were a blast to work with. Kelly and I are looking forward to seeing them again on their big day in Santa Cruz. Should be a fantastic wedding!
